The first official pitch hasn’t crossed home plate at the Iron Horse Sports Complex. But its schedule shows the near-complete Paint Township sports center already is boasting some impressive statistics:
More than 400 young ballplayers have signed up for a “local” spring league that’s pulling players from as far away as State College. And more than 100 teams from six states have signed on to play in one of 20 weekend baseball and softball tournaments slated for late spring, summer and early fall, said ERA Sports’ Rick Roberts.
